3.3.18 Ruggedness. The box, complete with blade, shall be capable of being dropped on all
sides, edges, and corners, as well as withstanding falling objects without damage to the blade or
deformation of the box (see 4.4.21).
3.3.19 Interchangeability. All parts removable by common hand tools shall be directly and
completely interchangeable with corresponding parts of other boxes of the same model (see
4.4.22).
3.3.20 Cleaning and Surface Treatment. Box shall be treated in a way as to prevent corrosion or
deterioration of the box material. Threaded or other working surfaces which are required to be
bare for operation shall have a corrosion resistant treatment applied that is nonvolatile, non-
carcinogenic, and provides a thin easily removable film. Wood shall be pressure treated and
